Alessandro Caronia Architect seeks an effective synthesis between traditional and contemporary workflow methodologies. Any project of any scale starts with a careful analysis of the client’s brief, aspirations and requirements, and a study of the site and its potentials. The first design response to be submitted to clients is always a handmade concept sketch, which is developed and refined working closely and collaboratively with the clients themselves. THE CITY OF FORMIGINE: PARTNER IN THE EUROPEAN “LINKS” 2010 PROJECT

How does one combine recovery, redevelopment and regeneration of the historic heritage of urban centres with environmental sustainability and energy saving measures? This was the core challenge and theme of the European “Links” 2010 project. The project was led by the City of Bayonne (France), and was supported by the European URBACT II programme which developed networks between European cities in the field of urban growth policies.
