Alessandro Caronia

PROPRIETOR

Based in Treviso (near Venice, Italy), the Alessandro Caronia Architect Practice specialises in contemporary architecture, restoration, renovation and interiors and has also developed a flair for urban space regeneration. Proprietor, Alessandro Caronia, is himself an ARB registered architect.

Alessandro Caronia’s studies, cultural background and commissions have provided him, throughout his career, with opportunities to approach design on diverse scales and issues, from architecture and urban regeneration through to the design of objects. Alessandro's design approach is contemporary yet sensitive to and respectful of the historic and traditional architectural features of existing buildings requiring restoration or refurbishment. The Practice constantly strives to design and undertake works that sit well within their environment and to make effective use of local materials, colour and light. Furthermore, the Practice is experienced in project management.

The Practice has extensive experience in residential architecture and work on leisure spaces and complexes, including from scratch design, restoration and the renovation of traditional and historical architecture. Given his solid knowledge of building regulations and technical and planning permission issues, Alessandro has also been retained as a Consultant to the Law Courts in Northern Italy and has been an Expert Witness numerous times for well over a decade.

The Alessandro Caronia Architect Practice is in a position to offer its professional services to all English speaking clients who are interested in building from scratch or in renovating an existing or historical building, both in Italy and in the UK.
