New outdoor tennis courts and showers for the swimming pool area at La Meridiana Club. These new facilities were installed inside the listed, historical Villa Giovanardi Park complex. The design goal was, therefore, to achieve visually light structures and a harmonious insertion of the “new” into the “old” existing context.

The surface of the tennis courts is artificial grass which blends in with the adjacent lawns. The system selected for the fences is characterized by use of a minimum number of posts and long spans with steel wires to support the wire mesh.  The fences, moreover, are black to help them merge with the shadows of the surrounding trees.
